Alison grew up in Devon, where her father ran the music at Exeter Cathedral. She studied Theology at Nottingham University after which she worked for a few months on the island of Lindisfarne. Following a six month placement with the City of London Sinfonia, she joined Harold Holt as an Assistant Artist Manager in 1996. Alison plays the viola in the Kensington Symphony Orchestra and enjoys travelling; recent particularly memorable trips having included Sri Lanka and several countries in Africa.
