Introduction

Following their international debut alongside the New York Philharmonic at Lincoln Centre, the Xiaoshuijing Farmers’ Chorus tours to the UK where they will perform 5 concerts, culminating in a special Chinese New Year concert at the Royal Festival Hall, conducted by Long Yu.

Presented by Askonas Holt, in partnership with the KT Wong Foundation and Philharmonia Orchestra, the concert at the Royal Festival Hall will feature 13-year-old pianist Serena Wang in Mendelssohn’s Piano Concerto No. 1, plus Li Huanzhi’s Spring Festival Overture, Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy, and traditional Yunnan folk songs.
