Internationally acclaimed artists collaborate with DSO Berlin
Bravo to Tugan Sokhiev and Emanuel Ax who delighted Berlin audiences in two concerts this weekend on stage at the Philharmonie with Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.
The ambitious programme included works by Reiman, Stravinsky, Haydn and Brahms and demonstrated the DSO Music Director’s artistry in a variety of repertoire. Mr Ax’s magical playing in both the Haydn and Stravinsky was greeted with rapturous applause.
The evening culminated in an astounding account of Brahms’ Fourth Symphony, which Mr Sokhiev will conduct with his Toulouse orchestra in Salle Pleyel, Paris on 6 April.
Congratulations to both of them and click here for a recent review of the programme in Der Tagesspiegel.
