New Release – Choir of St John’s College, Cambridge: ‘Kyrie’

Released today on the ‘St John’s Cambridge’ label in collaboration with Signum Records is the third album by the Choir of St John’s College, Cambridge, titled Kyrie. The album features mass settings by Poulenc, Kodály and a setting of the Lord’s Prayer by Janáček.

Earlier this year, the choir’s debut release of works by Jonathan Harvey Deo was awarded the choral prize at the 2017 BBC Music Magazine Awards, which Gramophone described as a “beautifully performed and recorded” album.
