This week Louis Langrée will conduct performances of Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande at the Théâtre des Champs Elysées, with the Orchestre National de France. The performances will be on the 9, 11, 13, 15 and 17 May 2017.
This will be his first collaboration with the orchestra, and on 24 May 2017 he will conduct a concert with them; Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 (with Nelson Friere) and Schoenberg’s Pelleas und Melisande.
Louis recently discussed his return to Paris in an interview for the Théâtre des Champs Elysées blog, and featured as Guest of the Day on France Musique Classique last week to talk about his interpretation of Debussy’s work. Listen back to the programme here.
