July 2016 sees Lars Vogt head down under for a month-long tour which includes both his Australian conducting debut and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra debut.
Lars kicks things off in Sydney where he conducts the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in a programme of Mozart, with Lars himself at the piano for the “Jeunehomme” Concerto No.9 in E flat.

Next he travels south to Melbourne where he joins Alexander Shelley and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No.27.
Slipping in a masterclass and recital in Melbourne Recital Centre’s ‘Great Performers’ series on 24 and 25 July respectively, Lars then moves on to the final leg of his trip in Hobart and Launceston for his debut with the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra.
