Karen Gomyo makes her debut with the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra



This week sees violinist Karen Gomyo travel to Taiwan for her debut performance with the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra. She will perform Brahms’ Violin Concerto with conductor Michal Nesterowicz on 17 and 18 March 2018.

Karen will then return to the US for a re-invitation to Cincinnati Symphony with their Music Director Louis Langrée, and her debut performance with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen. In Chicago, Karen will give the world premiere of Mead Composer-in-Residence Samuel Adams’ Chamber Concerto for violin and chamber ensemble (written for her), concluding the 20th season of CSO’s MusicNOW.
