Next week, Julien Libeer will begin his residency at Flagey, Brussels, where he will serve as their Artist-in-Residence for the 2017/18 season.
Beginning on 16 September, Julien will embark on his collaboration with this renowned venue with a recital entitled Julien Libeer & Friends. The programme features works by Bach, Mozart and Franck, joined by violinists Lorenzo Gatto and Rosanne Philippens, violist Dimitri Murrath and cellist Camille Thomas.
Later in the season, Julien will perform in a choral concert with children’s choir Singing Molenbeek alongside Zeno Popescu on 10 December, a solo recital on 25 February, and an all Poulenc concert with the Brussels Philharmonic directed by Hervé Niquet on 30 March.
Also on the horizon for Julien is a performance with the London Schools Symphony Orchestra at the Barbican on 25 September, in which he will perform Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 in G major Op. 58 under Peter Ash.
