Jonathan Nott makes his LSO debut

Jonathan Nott makes his debut with the London Symphony Orchestra this weekend as he conducts their final concert of the season in a thrilling programme of Beethoven’s Symphony No 2 and Messiaen’s Turangalîla-Symphonie
This season has seen Jonathan take on the leadership as Music Director of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra to great acclaim. He has also been announced as Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor of the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie, a position he will take up in October. 
Next season, Jonathan looks forward to return visits to the Concertgebouworkest, Sydney Symphony and Accademia Santa Cecilia Orchestra, as well as a tour with the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester in performances of Mahler’s Symphony No 2 in Germany, Portugal, Spain and Austria. With his Bamberger Symphoniker, he will appear at the Musikfest Berlin and lead the Orchestra in tours to China, Spain, Baden Baden and Frankfurt.
