Domingo Hindoyan makes his Mariinsky Theatre debut during White Nights Festival 2018

This Sunday 10 June, Domingo Hindoyan makes his Mariinsky Theatre debut conducting Puccini’s La bohème as part of the prestigious annual White Nights Festival. The Festival, held in St Petersburg, showcases over 200 operas and concerts and welcomes guest conductors, soloists and orchestras from around the world between May and July 2018.

Domingo has conducted Puccini’s impassioned concoction of tragedy and humour multiple times at the Staatsoper Berlin, and opens his 2018/19 season conducting the title at Lyric Opera of Chicago, with a magnificent cast featuring Michael Fabiano as Rodolfo and Maria Agresta as Mimi. Future operatic engagements in forthcoming seasons include Aida with Royal Swedish Opera, Turandot with Wiener Staatsoper, Tosca at Staatsoper Berlin and Luisa Miller at Liceu Barcelona. Earlier this season, Domingo made his Metropolitan Opera debut to great critical acclaim with Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore.
