A debut for Robin Tritschler at the Bregenz Festival to conclude an exciting season

Robin Tritschler makes his debut tonight at the Bregenz Festival in Thomas Larcher’s newly composed opera The Hunting Gun. The Opera is based on a novella of the same name by Japanese writer Yasushi Inoue. Robin’s debut with the festival marks the conclusion of an exciting and busy season, which has also included the opening recital at Wigmore Hall and a performance in Flura dels Baus’ staging of Haydn’s The Creation at New York’s Lincoln Center as part of the Mostly Mozart Festival.

Other notable engagements of 2017/18 have been Scwhanengesang in San Diego with renowned pianist Inon Barnatan, Bach’s St John Passion in Dresden and Salzburg conducted by Philippe Herreweghe, appearances with the Bayerische Rundfunk, Ensemble Pygmalion, NDR Hannover, London Philharmonic and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and a return to the Risor Chamber Music Festival.

Looking ahead to 2018/19, Robin returns to the Wigmore Hall in his own residency of recitals across the season, and looks forward to his debut appearances with the St Louis Symphony Orchestra, the Spanish National Orchestra, the Sao Paolo Symphony Orchestra and Les violons du Roy.
