Winners of 2017 Gramophone Awards announced

The 12 category winners for the 2017 Gramophone Classical Music Awards have been revealed, with the winners including Iestyn Davies and Jonathan Cohen’s Bach Cantatas album, two recordings by Giovanni Antonini and Il Giardino Armonico, George Benjamin and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra’s contemporary album, Murray Perahia‘s Bach French Suites album and Joyce DiDonato’s In War & Peace.

The winners for the Record of the Year and Artist of the Year awards will be revealed at the Gramophone Awards ceremony. Watch the Awards ceremony live on Wednesday 13 September 2017 through, and at 6.30pm BST.
