Vilde Frang – residency at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival



This month sees Vilde Frang embark on an extensive residency at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. Recently shortlisted for the 2016 Gramophone Artist of the Year Award, Vilde opened the Festival on 17 June with a performance of the Britten Violin Concerto with the NDR Sinfonieorchester and Sakari Oramo. Over the next couple of months, she will present an array of chamber music programmes with musicians such as Kit Armstrong, Sol Gabetta, Nils Mönkemeyer, Marie-Elisabeth Hecker, Edicson Ruiz and Daniel Röhn.
