Vilde Frang awarded Credit Suisse Young Artists Award



Vilde is awarded the accolade to mark the outstanding achievements of young solo musicians

Congratulations to Vilde Frang who has been named as the winner of the 2012 Credit Suisse Young Artists Award. This accolade is awarded every two years to mark the outstanding achievements of young solo musicians. The prize is awarded jointly by the Lucerne Festival, the Vienna Philharmonic, the ‘Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde’ in Vienna and the Jubilee Fund. Awardees are given a concert performance with the Vienna Philharmonic at the Lucerne Summer Music Festival, to be conducted in 2012 by Bernard Haitink.

The Credit Suisse Young Artists Awards crowns an extraordinary year of acclaim and recognition for Vilde. In the past 2 years, she has been awarded:
