Trevor Pinnock returns to the Kammerorchester Basel for concerts in La Chaux-de-fonds (29 October), Zürich’s Maag Halle (30 October) and at the Musikverein Vienna (31 October). The programme include Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with soloist Vilde Frang, who is also joined by violist Nils Mönkemeyer for Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante. Next month, Trevor conducts the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen with soloists Maria João Pires and Julien Libeer in Mozart Piano Concertos and in December, makes his debut with the Orchestre National de France, directing a seasonal performance of Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium (cantatas no. 1-3) and Brandenburg Concerto No. 3.
Fresh from highly successful performances with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de Lyon, Sion Festival as well as Schloss Elmau, further highlights to Vilde’s season include a German tour with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra conducted by Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, concerts with the Philharmonia Orchestra, as well as debuts with the Berlin Philharmonic and Los Angeles Philharmonic.
