At Salzburg's Whitsun Festival, Europa Galante performs a concert version of the opera based on the story of the lovers Pyramus and Thisbe as told in Ovid's Metamorphoses. With music by Adolf Hasse and libretto by Mario Coltellini, the cast includes Vivica Genaux, Desiree Rancatore and Emanuele D'Aguano.
