Aldeburgh World Orchestra with Sir Mark Elder
As part of the London 2012 Festival the Aldeburgh World Orchestra will be in residence in Suffolk in July 2012, the culmination of which will be a series of high profile performances at Snape Maltings and major London and European venues including the Amsterdam Concertgebouw.
This exciting new orchestra, comprising 124 of the most talented young musicians from across the globe will be led by acclaimed British conductor, Sir Mark Elder in performances of Britten, Mahler, Shostakovich and Stravinsky, as well as the world premiere of a new commission.
