To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Chopin's birthday, the Chopin Institute in Warsaw presents Europa Galante in a concert performance of Bellini's 'Norma' as the highlight of the Chopin Festival in 2010. Bellini, and in particular 'Norma' had a major and direct influence on Chopin's music, and this performance is performed by the period ensemble and Fabio Biondi, with a cast led by Katia Pellegrino, Gregory Kunde and Lucia Cirillo.
