Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela - Carnegie Hall, New York 2016

In October 2016 the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela return to New York to open Carnegie Hall’s 2016-2017 season.

The orchestra will perform three ambitious programmes, ranging from early 20th century works by Ravel and Stravinsky to contemporary Venezuelan works including Paul Desenne’s Hipnosis Mariposa (2016).

The orchestra will complete their residency with Messiaen’s Turangalîla-symphonie featuring soloists Jean-Yves Thibaudet (piano) and Cynthia Millar (ondes martenot).
