Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, Europe 2016
Jan 2016 - Jan 2016

The Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela return to Europe with their Music Director, Gustavo Dudamel, to begin their 2016 year with a 12-concert tour across eight cities. Highlights of their four complete programmes include Messiaen’s Turangalîla-Symphonie with Yuja Wang’s fiery piano solo and Cynthia Millar’s exotic ondes martenot sounds, and Daniel Barenboim – a mentor to Dudamel – performing both Brahms’ piano concerti with the orchestra.
