Thomas Søndergård makes last-minute Bayerische Staatsoper debut

Hot on the heels of three wonderful symphonic debuts already this season – the Royal Concertgebouw, London Philharmonic and London Symphony OrchestrasThomas Søndergård finishes his thrilling year with a high profile last-minute opera debut! This week he jumps in for an indisposed Dan Ettinger to make his debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, for Turandot with Nina Stemme in the title role and Anatoli Sivko as A Mandarin. This comes just two weeks before rehearsals start in Berlin for his debut at the Deutsche Oper Berlin for the new Scartazzini opera, Edward II. After the last few months of excitement, Thomas is rather deserving of a relaxing Christmas…

Good luck (again!) Maestro!

Performances take place 14, 17 December 2016. See here for more information.
