Teatro alla Scala announces 2016/17 season



Last week, Teatro alla Scala announced their 2016/17 season which begins in December this year. Below is a round-up of the many contributions from Askonas Holt artists.
Highlights include house debuts for James Platt and Rosa Feola (the latter in a new production of Rossini’s ‘La Gazza Ladra’), as well as a new production of Weber’s ‘Der Freischütz’ conducted by Myung-Whun Chung

Our Tours & Projects Department is also working with Teatro alla Scala on their upcoming tour to Asia, with performances of both Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and ‘Simon Boccanegra’ in Shanghai and Seoul. Performances are on 29, 31 August and 3, 4 September, conducted by Myung-Whun Chung.
