Stanislav Kochanovsky makes his Melbourne Symphony Orchestra subscription debut



Stanislav Kochanovsky makes his subscription debut this week with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, conducting a programme of Schumann’s Manfred Overture, the Australian premiere of Martinsson’s song cycle Ich denke dein…, joined by soprano Lisa Larsson, and Rachmaninov’s Symphony No. 2. Performances will take place on 23 and 25 November at Hamer Hall, Melbourne. More information here.

Fresh from conducting the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, Stanislav will later this month return to Rome to conduct Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia with works by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov before performing extensively in Russia with the Mariinsky Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, and the Russian National Orchestra.
