Sophie Bevan sings her first Royal Opera House Susanna



Toi toi toi to Sophie Bevan who sings Susanna tonight at Covent Garden. This performance, which will be broadcast live in selected cinemas, is her role debut at the house alongside Erwin Schrott, Stefan Degout and Ellie Dehn under the baton of Ivor Bolton. This begins a busy season for Sophie, which will also see her make her house debut at the Teatro Real Madrid as another of Mozart’s heroines, Pamina, and also her debut at the Salzburg Festival. Sophie will also be recording her first solo disc of Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven arias and will return to Covent Garden as Antigone in Enescu’s Oedipe.
