Royal Academy of Music fellowship for Robin Ticciati

We are delighted to announce that Robin Ticciati has been appointed the Sir Colin Davis Fellow of Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music. This is a new post that will see Robin Ticciati working with students in coming seasons commencing with a Berlioz and Schumann project in October 2014.
‘I am delighted that this Fellowship will formalise our relationship with Robin, one of today’s brightest and most outstanding conductors. Robin’s own work is permeated with insights from his experience of studying closely with Sir Colin Davis–and with Sir Simon Rattle, another conductor with strong Academy connections. By working with Robin, Academy students will gain inspiration from Sir Colin’s remarkable legacy, and will build upon it–so I am particularly pleased that this Fellowship will carry Sir Colin’s name’. Professor Jonathan Freeman-Attwood, Principal of the Royal Academy of Music
