Role debut for Rodion at the Met

Rodion Pogossov makes a welcome return to the Met for his role debut as Silvio in ‘Pagliacci’ in a production by Sir David McVicar, conducted by Fabio Luisi.
Now frequently performed as a duo, the Met was the first opera company to present ‘Cavalleria Rusticana’ and ‘Pagliacci’ as a double bill. This run opened on 21 January and Rodion will join the cast for performances on 10, 13, 17, 20, 23 and 26 February 2016. He will go on to sing this role next season with Den Norske Opera.
