Rodion Pogossov makes his Seattle Opera debut

Rodion Pogossov makes his house debut with Seattle Opera this weekend, in his role debut as Raimbaud in the company’s production of ‘Le comte Ory’ (a Seattle Opera premiere).
Described as a “madcap comedy” this “Monty Python-spired production” is filled with colourful fun and frolicking. You can watch the promotional video here.
Rodion opens the new season with a return to the Met for ‘La bohème’, joined by Dmytro Popov and Ailyn Pérez (28 September – 14 October 2016).
Performances of ‘Le comte Ory’ begin on Saturday 6 August, with further performances for Rodion on 13, 17 & 20 August. For more information and tickets, see the Seattle Opera website,
