Robin Ticciati conducts Glyndebourne’s first ever production of ‘La finta giardiniera’

Robin Ticciati’s second production of the season will see him conducting the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment for Glyndebourne’s first ever production of Mozart’s La finta giardiniera. The production stars Christiane Karg, who returns to the festival after her triumphant success last year in Hippolyte et Aricie, critics saying she was ‘The star act’, and Joelle Harvey who has previously sung Adina in L’elisir d’amore, The Fairy Queen, and Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro for Glyndebourne. Timothy Robinson and Rosa Feola will then take over as Il Podestà and Sandrina when the production departs on tour in the autumn.
