Piotr Anderszewski begins tour of Asia



March 2017 sees Piotr Anderszewski tour extensively in Asia with solo recitals in Xian, Shanghai and Taipei, and Play/Direct concerts featuring Haydn and Mozart with the Camerata Salzburg at the Hong Kong Arts Festival on the 10 March, and Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul on the 11 March.

Since coming out of his sabbatical in November 2016, Piotr has performed with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and give a solo recital at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, as well releasing his latest CD with Warner Classics: ‘Mozart Schumann Fantasies’. Since its release in February the recording has been well received by critics and fans alike: The Guardian  awarded it 4 stars noting ”All the performances […] show the lucidity and objectivity that have always been such outstanding qualities of Anderszewski’s playing.”

Piotr next appears at Wigmore Hall on 2 April with long-time collaborator and friend, violinist Nikolaj Znaider in a programme of works by Beethoven, Janáček, Schumann and Webern.
