About the Performance

Fiona Shaw directs the new production of Cherubini’s Medea at the Wexford Festival Opera, starring Lise Davidsen in the title role. During the interval, Sean Rafferty speaks with Fiona, who has famously played the title role in Euripides’ Medea in the West End and on Broadway; conductor, Stephen Barlow; and the writer, Colm Tóibín.
