Olena Tokar makes her house debut at Olavshallen, Trondheim

This week, soprano Olena Tokar will make her house and role debut at Olavshallen, Trondheim performing as Violetta Valéry in a new production of Verdi’s La Traviata, directed by David Radok. Performing with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra, the opera has four scheduled performances planned from 8 to 14 March. More information here.

AH artist Diego Silva returns to Trondheim to reprise his role as Alfredo before he heads to Paris to cover the role of Rinuccio in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi for Opéra de Paris.

This season has seen Olena perform around Europe including taking the role of Marguerite in Gounoud’s Faust at the Vilnius City Opera, and critically acclaimed performances in Dvořák’s Rusalka with the Leipzig Opera. Further ahead, Olena will travel to Budapest for concerts with the Budapest Festival Orchestra in April, and will perform with Grange Park Opera as Juliette in Gounoud’s Roméo et Juliette in the summer.
