Nicole Car sings Mimì in the Royal Opera’s new production of ‘La bohème’



Nicole Car returns to Covent Garden to sing her first Royal Opera Mimì in a new production of one of Puccini’s best loved works, La bohème, conducted by Antonio Pappano and produced by Olivier Award-winning director Richard Jones. Performances of La bohème will take place from 11 September to 10 October 2017, and will be broadcast live in cinemas on 3 October as part of the Royal Opera’s Live Cinema Season.

Nicole will reprise the role later this season at the Opéra national de Paris under Gustavo Dudamel from 16 to 31 December, joined by Aida Garifullina, Benjamin Bernheim and Andrey Zhilikhovsky, before returning to her home country for La traviata with Opera Australia from 1 to 27 March, and a tour with the Australian Chamber Orchestra in April 2018.
