Soprano Maria Luigia Borsi charms the Wigmore Hall audience with her stunning solo debut.

Triumphant UK debut for Maria Luigia Borsi
Triumphant UK debut for Maria Luigia Borsi

Congratulations to Soprano Maria Luigia Borsi who this month gave her UK debut recital at the Wigmore Hall to a rapturous audience. Singing a programme from the masters of her native Tuscany, Maria Luigia gave a beautiful performance which was clearly straight from the heart. Bob Briggs from 'Seen and Heard International' was delighted by her "exquisite tenderness" and perfect pianissimi, and assures us that it was  "...an evening which will live long in the memories of those lucky enough to have been at the Wigmore Hall on Sunday, January 17th". Bravo!

Maria Luigia will next be appearing at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf this Saturday (January 30th) in a gala concert for the Aids charity Festliche Operngala fur die Aids-Stiftung, before gearing up for her transatlantic debut with Cincinnati Opera later this year.
