Success for Rodion Pogossov in debut at Michigan Opera Theatre

Rodion Pogossov was hailed by critics as a “world-class Figaro” with a “rich, clear voice, marrying warm colour, supple phrasing and pinpoint distinction” by Mark Stryker from Detroit Free Press, after the premiere last Sunday night.

Patty Nolan from The Examiner has also said; “his voice is wonderful and seems effortless- but what stunned the MOT audience is that Pogossov not only sings, he also tap dances, juggles and walks on his hands. This guy is a performer, and the audience loved him.”
