We are delighted to announce the general management (excluding Italy) of soprano Rosa Feola and mezzo Nadezhda Karyazina.
Rosa Feola came to international attention when she won Second Prize, The Audience Prize and the Zarzuela Prize at the 2010 Plácido Domingo World Opera Competition. She made her debut in the role of Corinna Il Viaggio a Reims under Kent Nagano at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. She then sang Serafina Donizetti’s Il campanello at the 2010 Reate Festival, Adina L’elisir d’amore at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome under Bruno Campanella and Inès Mercadante’s I due Figaro under Riccardo Muti at the Salzburg Festival.
Nadezhda Karyazina trained at the Russian Academy of the Theatrical Arts in Moscow, and after graduating was admitted to the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Center, where among others she performed the roles of Laura in Tchaikovsky’s Iolantha, Contessa di Ceprano in Verdi’s Rigoletto, Dunyasha in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride, Siebel in Gounod’s Faust and Olga in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin.
Since 2010 she has been a member of the Young Artist Program of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, and has performed the roles of Marquise Melibea in scenes from Il viaggio a Reims by Rossini at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow with the chamber orchestra ‘Moscow Soloists’ under Yuri Bashmet, and her debut at the Bolshoi was as Petrovna in Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride conducted by Vasily Sinaisky.
