Michelle DeYoung makes her debut at the English National Opera

Michelle DeYoung makes her debut at the English National Opera this week as Amneris in a new production of Aida.

The production is conducted by Keri-Lynn Wilson and staged by Olivier Award-winning director Phelim McDermott, who returns to ENO after recent success with Akhnaten. Michelle is joined on stage by ENO Harewood artists Eleanor Dennis as High Priestess and David Webb as the Messenger, and, in later performances, by Brindley Sherratt as Ramfis.

Aida returns to the Coliseum after 10 years, with the first ever performance at ENO held back in 1931! The production opens on 28 September, with further performances on 3, 6, 9, 11, 14, 19, 21, 27, 31 October, 4, 10, 17, 27, 29 November, and 2 December. More information here.
