The orchestra performed the New York premier of John Luther Adams’ Become Ocean, which has recently won the Pulitzer Prize. Later this year Cantaloupe Records will release a studio recording made with the Seattle Symphony.
After the interval they played Varèse’s Déserts and Debussy’s La Mer.
