Ludovic Morlot announces 2013/14 season in Seattle



2013/14 season announcement in Seattle

The 2013/14 season of Seattle Symphony will open with an  all-Ravel programme and close with Stravinsky’s three great ballets, and will feature Mozart’s last seven symphonies  
 
Local Artistic Partnerships include Verdi’s Requiem; Bach’s St. Matthew Passion with Pacific MusicWorks; Bartók’s Violin Concerto No. 2 with Seattle Chamber Music Society Artistic Director James Ehnes; a series Concert with the Earshot Jazz Festival; and Celebrate Asia, featuring a New Work for Vietnamese and Western Instruments by Richard Karpen, Director of University of Washington’s School of Music.
