Louis Langrée makes his debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra

This week, Louis Langrée will be making his debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra. He will conduct three performances of Schnittke’s Moz-art à la Haydn, Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 and Beethoven’s Violin Concerto, with Midori as soloist.
In an interview with the orchestra, Louis says of his upcoming debut: “I can’t wait, not only to listen to that sound, but to be right in the middle of it … It’s a great privilege for me to have been asked to conduct this amazing orchestra, in such a glorious program. It’s an honor … and I’m sure it will be a joy!”
Performances take place on 3, 4 & 5 November 2016. Further information on these concerts and how to purchase tickets can be found here.
