Louis Langrée conducts his first concerts as Music Director of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra



Louis Langrée will conduct his first three concerts as Music Director of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra on 8-10th November 2013.
The programme will open with Jennifer Higdon’s On a wire,when the orchestra will be joined by the ensemble in residence eighth blackbird. This will be followed by Copland’s A Lincoln Portrait, narrated by Dr Maya Angelou and accompanied by multimedia visuals. After the interval the orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No 5. 
Anticipation for Louis’ installation has been dramatically increased this summer by the success of Lumenocity, which attracted over 35,000 people to hear Louis conduct the Cincinatti Symphony Orchestra.
