Jonathan Nott returns to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra

Jonathan Nott returns to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to kick off 2016, conducting four concerts in an all-German programme which includes Richard Strauss’ epic tone poem, ‘Ein Heldenleben’ and Brahms’ ‘Academic Festival Overture’. He will also be joined by Askonas Holt cellist Johannes Moser, who will perform Haydn’s Cello Concerto No 1.

The remainder of the 15-16 season sees Jonathan embark on an extensive touring schedule with the Bamberger Symphoniker, including a return to South America, which is followed by his farewell concerts as Principal Conductor in June 2016.
