James Rutherford makes his Frankfurt opera debut this week singing the role of Lysiart in Weber’s Euryanthe. This is a new role for James, and an exciting new relationship with the Oper, Frankfurt.
2014/15 has been a busy season for James, having already appeared in Graz, Barcelona, London and Hamburg. He finishes off the season in Budapest as the Dutchman in Wagner’s The Flying Dutchman.
This 8 performance run of Weber’s Euryanthe begins on the 5 April 2015 with further performances on the 10, 12, 16, 19, 25, 30 April and 3 May.
