– Imogen Cooper records works by Robert and Clara Schumann for Chandos Records.
– Andreas Brantelid and pianist Christian Ihle Hadland record a duo disc of works by Edvard Grieg and Percy Grainger. They are joined by violinist Lars Bjørnkjær for a single trio piece by Grieg (BIS Records).
– Emmanuel Pahud records CPE Bach’s Flute Concertos with the Kammerakademie Potsdam under Trevor Pinnock at Villa Hugel Essen for Warner Classics.
– The BBC National Orchestra of Wales record works by Sibelius for their first commercial disc with Principal Conductor Thomas Søndergård (Linn records).
Simon Keenlyside joins forces with the BBC Concert Orchestra and conductor David Charles Abell for a recording of Broadway and show music for Chandos Records.
