Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela: Major US tourThe Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela will undertake a major tour of the United States in October and November 2007. The tour will include concerts, workshops, education and outreach work, lectures and collaborations with local youth groups in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and New York. The tour will be conducted by their Music Director Gustavo Dudamel, and the concerts in New York will co-ordinate with the residency of the Berliner Philharmoniker and Sir Simon Rattle at Carnegie Hall. Indeed, Sir Simon will conduct the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra at Carnegie Hall - what a climax to the tour !
