Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela: Spain with Gustavo Dudamel

After an extraordinary US Tour, universally acclaimed by audiences and press alike, the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela with their 'technically astonishing and powerfully communicative playing' (New York Times) conducted by 'the absolutely revelatory' (Los Angeles Times) young Maestro Gustavo Dudamel will embark on a tour of Spain in January 2008. This much-anticipated event will include concerts in Oviedo, Zaragoza, Valladolid and Madrid with the following schedule:

24 January, 2008, 20.00: Oviedo (Auditorio Principe Felipe)

25 January, 2008, 20.00: Valladolid (Auditorio Centro Cultural Miguel Delibes)

26 January, 2008, 20.00: Zaragoza (Auditorio de Zaragoza),

27 January, 2008, 19.00: Madrid (Auditorio Nacional de Espańa)

The young orchestra will be performing Tchaikovsky 5, Beethoven 7 and Stravinsky's Rite of Spring.
