Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra: European tour with Gustavo Dudamel

Gustavo Dudamel's appointment as Music Director of the Gothenburg Symphony is one of the most exciting events in the Scandinavian orchestral scene. Dudamel, who in 2008 will only be 27 years of age, will bring a youthful flair, and Latin exhuberance, to the podium in Gothenburg - a flair that audiences at the BBC Proms in 2005 will already have witnessed when Dudamel stepped in for the indisposed Neeme Jarvi.

On this tour they will be performing with the brilliant young violinist Sergey Khachatryan, and will visit the Cologne Philharmonie, Essen Philharmonie, Luxembourg Philharmonie, Vienna Musikverein, the Gasteig in Munich, and top venues in Barcelona, Valencia, and San Sebastian.
