Yvonne Kenny

Australian soprano Yvonne Kenny has sung in the world's major opera houses and festivals. Her recent engagements have included the Marschallin under Sir Charles Mackerras in San Francisco, Kalman’s 'Die Csardasfürstin' and Governess in 'The Turn of the Screw' for Opera Australia, Ellen Orford for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Alice Ford for English National Opera, Christine in 'Intermezzo' at Garsington, Alcina in Göttingen, Countess in 'Capriccio' in Dresden and the Marschallin in both Sydney and at the Vienna State Opera. Her recent engagements include La Voix Humaine, Alice Ford and Blanche DuBois (A Streetcar named Desire) for Opera Australia and Giordano’s Fedora for Opera Holland Park. Future engagements include Purcell’s “Dido and Aeneas” for Opera Australia.
