Viktoria Mullova

“To hear Mullova play Bach is, simply, one of the greatest things you can experience. ”, wrote the London Guardian. One of the world’s greatest violin virtuosos, Mullova’s musical horizons continue to expand. She recently journeyed into the world of jazz and world music collaborating with the jazz pianist, Julian Joseph and with Between the Notes. She works regularly with the period bands, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Il Giardino Armonico and Venice Baroque as well as appearing each season with the world’s top orchestras and conductors. In 1994 she formed her chamber group, the Mullova Ensemble, and has recently formed a duo with Katia Labèque.
