Spanish mezzo soprano Silvia Tro Santafé specializes in the belcanto repertoire in particular Rossini, Other than bel canto, Ms Tro Santafé also focuses on Handel, Mozart, Massenet and 20th century French repertoire. She has appeared to great success at many of the world's leading opera houses including the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Salzburg Festival, Wiener Staatsoper, Netherlands Opera, Monnaie, Liceu Barcelona and at the Zurich Opera, where she continues to appear on a regular basis. Silvia Tro Santafé has collaborated with such conductors as Neville Marriner, Gerd Albrecht, Frübeck de Burgos, Charles Dutoit,Jesús López Cobos, García Navarro, Julian Reynolds, Michel Plasson, Maurizio Benini, Renato Palumbo, Lorin Maazel, Harry Bicket and Christoph Rousset.
