Sergei Leiferkus's command of both voice and stagecraft ensures that he is known throughout the world for his vivid and powerful performances in both Russian and Italian repertoire. His ability to convey both nobility and evil makes him most noted for roles such as Scarpia in 'Tosca', Iago in 'Otello', Rangoni in 'Boris Godunov' and Telramund in 'Lohengrin' and Alberich in the Ring Cycle.
